• These sessions are designed to help you understand and restore the way your body moves, functions, and organizes as a whole. Each session explores the deeper patterns contributing to discomfort, limitation, or imbalance. Each session builds on the prior one.

You may come with a specific area of concern—such as back pain, shoulder issues, or injury—or with a desire to better understand your body globally. Sessions include a combination of detailed assessment, movement and strength testing, hands-on manual therapy, breathwork, and targeted physical therapy exercises.

Treatment is both practical and educational. You will learn how your body functions mechanically and how breath, tension patterns, and energetic awareness influence movement and recovery. The goal is not only to relieve pain, but to help you develop a deeper relationship with your body and the tools to support long-term resilience.

While some people benefit from a single session, this work is most effective when explored over several months. Ongoing sessions allow time to unwind patterns, build new capacity, and integrate changes into daily life.

Sessions are personalized and collaborative, meeting you where you are and supporting your body's natural ability to adapt, heal, and organize.

  • Massage sessions are designed to support the body in releasing tension, restoring mobility, and encouraging overall balance. Treatments may include deep tissue massage, fascial work, cupping therapy, trigger point therapy, and techniques that support nervous system regulation.

Care is offered for both athletes and everyday individuals seeking relief from pain, recovery from strain, or a deeper sense of connection with their bodies. Sessions are tailored to each person’s needs and goals. As a certified TEH energy healing practitioner, subtle energy work may also be incorporated to support deeper relaxation and integration.

Perinatal care is a special focus offered by Kayla. Bodywork during pregnancy and throughout the postpartum period helps support the body through the physical and emotional transitions of this time. Postpartum care is ideally received over a series of sessions, allowing the body to gradually recover, rebalance, and integrate after birth. In-home visits are available for postpartum clients to provide care in the comfort and ease of home.

  • “I first started working with Kayla for semi-regular bodywork as maintenance over a year ago and it was one of the best decisions I’ve made for myself in terms of self care, both physically and mentally. Kayla’s understanding of the body through her yoga background is amplified through her lens and techniques deployed through massage therapy. In my experience as her client, I feel that Kayla deeply understands the body’s inherent connections, and is able to pick up on the nuances of how the body’s muscle and connective tissue responds to different inputs in the moment. It seems to me as though she listens first, and responds according to what the body needs that day. She is an incredible present practitioner, who also has a gift for meeting people where they are to allow for their nervous systems to settle. I leave each session feeling completely grounded and at ease. I would recommend Kayla to anyone and I’m so grateful I’ve been able to work with her so frequently over the past year.“

  • “I worked with Rene on two separate occasions, first for my neck and then for my knee, and in both cases I was able to gain relief from my immediate symptoms and think more critically about the process towards recovery. Rene’s style of physical therapy is different from anything I’ve ever experienced; I go into the session with an understanding that we’re going to explore lots of options and hopefully uncover some patterns that could be underlying whatever is going on, and we’re going to do that by thinking out of the box. Rene doesn’t seek an answer or a quick fix right away. He is curious, thoughtful, and keeps many options open. He pays attention to details that many physical therapists overlook, and offers helpful insight that, in my experience, has helped me unlock a new understanding of my own body I didn’t have before. I so appreciate an approach that allows for a broader scope of potential healing. I believe the body is really intelligent and it wants to find balance, but we have to learn how to listen to the signals it gives in order to support moving back in the direction when we’re off course. When you meet with Rene, you’ll leave with a new lens to think about movement, perhaps some new questions, and, I believe, with more trust in your own body’s ability to heal.”
